Congratulations are in order to Investment in Excellence (IIE®) graduate Laval St. Germain. Talk about self-efficacy…the pilot and father of 3 from Alberta, recently became the first Canadian to summit Mt. Everest without using an oxygen tank! For the full story on his climb check out this article from the Calgary Herald. As if that is not enough…Laval is not the only history-maker in his family. Back in 2006, his children Richard and Angela (who went through TPI’s PX2® program last year) became the youngest people ever to bicycle the 736 km Dempster Highway in northern Canada. The 10-day trip took them over two mountain ranges and across the Arctic Circle. Who knows what amazing things this family will accomplish next?
